The Vauxhall VXR8 is sold as the Pontiac G8 GXP in the United States. It really is a great car; and, it's a terrible thing that there was only one model year of production for the G8 GXP. I think the Pontiac version looks a great deal better. The exterior is far less busy on the Pontiac than on the Vauxhall; and, the grille is quite a bit more handsome on the Pontiac, in my opinion.

amazing thing this car really is. It smokes the bmw, and all the rest for the lower price. less head spinning complicated buttons too. i have one, and its my first car too, hehe. i love every bit of it, exept mine is called "pontiac G8", sadly pontiac is R.I.P. the solstice really is a bad call... boo on bmw, although th e 6 series really did caught my attention. amazing car,

Having worked at Volkswagen for years and driven the Audis this Aussie V8 rear wheel drive car is a great package. The interior reminds me of the S4. I have owned the US version, the G8 GT (not GXP), for two years and have been very pleased.

To all the Britts on here the Pontiac g8 and the vauxhall are two different cars. Sure they look kinda similar, but they are sooo not the same car. We have vauxhalls here in the Usa. I just saw a vxr8 driving down the road the other day. I'm so disappointed that you guys could even say that they are the same cars. Both have different specs, different sized engines, and lastly different costs. The g8 is almost $10,000 cheaper then the vxr8. Don't disrespect the vauxhall by calling it a Pontiac, that would be like me saying the stig and James may are the same
