Awww. You guys should have tested the ACR model which has been clocked faster than the Gumpert at Nordschleife, and has set records elsewhere, beating the 997, GT-R, and even ZR1 . And it is unfortunate that it was tested on soaked pavement.

Did Jeremy say the SRT-10 is expensive? $75K is expensive? Compared to what? A Fiat? Amazing how Jeremy hates any American car & does his best to make them look bad, but they always look soooooooo good. Watch his review of the Cadillac V, the Z06, the ZR1, the GT40, and even the Mustang. The American cars are gorgeous even while Jeremy tries to do everything to make them look bad. This Viper looks incredible - stunning, as a matter of fact. Look at the Cockney offerings. Is there anything uglier than the Elise? It looks like a grinding blade in my kitchen garbage disposal. Oh, on second thought, there is. The TVR is uglier. TVR looks like a melting snowball. Also - Jeremy. When you stomp a Viper and fry the tires, they smoke. That's kind of a given. Don't complain about tire smoke if you don't understand what torque does when you stomp 8 plus liters of American power.

I've got a white Viper Mamba, and I absolutely adore it! Jeremy has some points - slack tranny, frightening when it lets go at the edge, lots of axle tramp (terrible run-flat tyres that should be replaced). However, this is without a doubt THE most exciting, adrenaline-producing, best looking car I've ever owned (sidepipes? SIDEPIPES! awesome!), and I take my 3yo to school at least once a week in it just to prove that it's a reasonable means of transportation. No one ever mentions that the sound of the exhaust is uniquely memorable, a cross between a European V12 and a big-block V8 from the States. Convertibles not for blokes? There's at least one.....

In such regard, the new Viper is like a Lamborgini... Both are designed like trucks, both ride like trucks, both handle like trucks... However I would, forced to choose, have the Viper. Only given that its price is much more reasonable

The third generation, phase I ZB Viper was being sold in Europe during 2005-2006, the first model to be sold as a Dodge, as part of Chrysler's new sales strategy for the European market. In the United Kingdom it is referred to as a Viper, but it is actually sold as the Dodge SRT-10, as the Viper name is a registered trademark in the UK.[16] Prodrive currently handles the importation and modification of Vipers to meet European laws. According to 2009 research by internet company Yahoo, the Viper is the car with the second-highest fuel consumption on sale in the United Kingdom.[17] [edit] Variants

It’s flat-out brilliant. It simply steamrollers any rational argument against it
