Fantastic Laps! This is a very interesting result that has shown that even though the motor vehicle engineering masterpiece that is the Bugatti may sport the title of the highest top speed, it is not the fastest on the list. Remembering back to the video where Richard raced the Stig in the Maclaren GT vs the Veyron in Saudi Arabia where the GT actually was quite ahead off the starting point in the lower gears. I would love to see the result from the Maclaren GT on the track! Thank You Top Gear for providing us this fantastic show! Dan

It all depends on your definition of "Fastest". In a straight line, the top speed will be experienced by the Bugatti although other specifications come to hand such as your acceleration, Braking, Turning, Weight etc. The Fastest Time around the track is affected by all of these factors!

There is a pretty big dent on the right side of the Veyron under the door. That has spoiled the whole result, the aerodynamics were corrupted :) I wonder how much did it cost to fix that bodywork.

Uhh.. I dont want to offend anyone but I think that Veyron is a fat ass car... I think i'd rather get a Zonda. (No flaming please!)

How far is it around the TG track? I mean, is it comparable to any of the F1 courses - in distance or in degree of difficulty?
