Footballer/baller/soccer player's David Beckham's first Porsche, a 1997 911 S, is up for sale on eBay in the UK. The Zenith Blue car, as fitted with Tiptronic, would net something like $30K on the open market here in the U.S.; none of the 3 bids, the last at $76,800, have met the reserve. The last time one of Beckham's former steeds ended up on the auction site, a REALLY big fan paid almost $170K for his E36 BMW M3 convertible.
If that whole LA Galaxy thing doesn't work out and soccer jersey sales start to flag, he could always start buying and selling cars in volume.

David Beckham is a joke, plain and simple.
That’s like paying a baker extra for moldy bread. Why would anyone want to buy some soccer player’s abused car? If I’m going to buy a 993, I want one that’s been maintained and driven by someone who knows what he’s doing. Soccer players are all about hair styling and drama, they can’t drive.
Not interested.
Eww…. who would want that?
