Man of the Year Contender: Sebastian Vettel

He arrived in F1 testing for BMW at a pace that had everyone talking. There was major speed in the Toro Rosso in 2007 too. But it wasn’t until the Italian Grand Prix at Monza earlier this year that Vettel turned in a performance in appalling weather conditions that confirmed him – officially – as the youngest GP-winner ever, but also – unofficially – as the next Michael Schumacher.

Top Gear magazine set out to pick a man of the year 2008 (we suppose it could have been a woman), and selected the movers, shakers and makers who did things that matter in 2008. There can be only one... but here is a contender.
