BBCSD TERMS & CONDITIONS: Bicester Scramble April 2026 – UK Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”)
Terms and Conditions
- The BBC Code of Conduct for competitions and prize draws (the “Code”) can be found at https://www.bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct and all BBC Studios Distribution Limited (“BBCSD”) promotions comply with the Code.
2. The Prize Draw opens on 8 April 2026 and closes at 23:59 BST on 14 April 2026 (“Closing Date”).
3. The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 (eighteen) years or over except employees of BBCSD or their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, members of their families and anyone professionally associated with the Prize Draw (those who enter the Prize Draw shall each be an “Entrant” and together be the “Entrants”).
4. By entering the Prize Draw, the Entrants agree:
a) to be bound by these Terms and Conditions;that their surname, county of residence and (if applicable) winning entry may be released if they win a prize; and
b) that should they win the Prize Draw, their name and likeness may be used by BBCSD for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
5. No purchase is necessary to enter.
6. After the Closing Date, 1 (one) winning Entrant (the “Winner”) will be selected based on the criteria set out in clause 12.
7. Entrants should enter online by filling in the Prize Draw form at [link to be inserted prior to the Closing Date in order to enter the Prize Draw. Emails or other forms of entry will not be accepted and entries received after the Closing Date, or incomplete entries, will not be eligible. Internet access is required to enter.
8. Only 1 (one) entry will be permitted per person and bulk entries (meaning the use of any form of technology which allows multiple simultaneous entries) will not be permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered. Entries cannot be returned.
9. Entrants’ data will be collected and used only for the purposes of administration of this Prize Draw. For more information on how BBCSD will use Entrants’ data, see the Privacy Notice.
10. Entrants must supply to BBCSD their full name and email address, and choose whether or not to sign up to the Top Gear newsletter and/or the Bicester Motion newsletter.
11. Where Entrants have provided consent, BBCSD and the Event organiser Bicester Motion may send Entrants marketing messages on a regular basis. Entrants may unsubscribe from these at any time.
12. The Winner will be the first 1 (one) entry drawn at random after the Closing Date.
13. The prize will be a package consisting of:
a) a set of 2 (two) VIP tickets for the Winner and their guest (the “Tickets”) to attend the ‘Bicester Scramble’ April 2026 event (the “Event”); and
b) a merchandise bundle consisting of 1 (one) hoodie, 1 (one) t-shirt, 1 (one) cap and 1 (one) mug of the Winner’s choice from the BBC Shop Top Gear merchandise range (the “Merchandise Bundle”)
(together the “Prize(s)”). 1 (one) Prize(s) are available.
14. The Winner will be notified within 5 (five) working days of the Closing Date by email. If the Winner is unable to be contacted within 5 (five) of the Closing Date, BBCSD reserves the right to offer the Prize(s) to an alternative Entrant, or to re-offer the Prize(s) in any future BBCSD competition, prize draw or promotion.
15. On successful contact and confirmation with the Winner, BBCSD will send the Tickets to the Winner and/or alternative Entrant(s) to a designated email address, and will make the Merchandise Bundle available for the Winner to collect at the Event on the day of the Event. BBCSD will not be liable for any disruption, delay, strike action or incorrect delivery by any postal or courier service or if incorrect details are provided.
16. There is no cash alternative and the Prize(s) will not be transferable. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. If a Prize must be taken on a specific date and the Winner is unable to attend on that day, BBCSD reserves the right to offer the Prize(s) to an alternative Entrant or to re-offer the Prize(s) in any future BBCSD competition, prize draw or promotion. BBCSD accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize(s) not specifically included/ stated. If any Prize or part of Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, BBCSD reserves the right to substitute a Prize or part of Prize for another prize or item of equal or greater value.
17. The surname and county of residence of the Winner, and if applicable copies of the winning entry, may be obtained by emailing crm@bbc.com within 2 (two) months of the Closing Date. If an Entrant wishes to object to any of their surname, county of residence and/or winning entry being published or made available, please email crm@bbc.com. In such circumstances, BBCSD must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
18. Any promotional activity or press release the Winner makes in relation to the Prize Draw must be pre-approved by BBCSD in writing.
19. BBCSD excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to an Entrant arising from their entry into the Prize Draw or occurring to the Winner(s) and/or their guest(s) arising from their acceptance of a Prize.
20. Entry into the Prize Draw is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
21. BBCSD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the Prize Draw or the Prize(s) at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
22. The Prize Draw is subject to the laws of England and Wales.

Privacy Notice
To enter the prize draw, you have provided BBC Studios with your personal data, including your name and email address. BBC Studios is the “data controller” of this information and is responsible for how your personal data is processed. We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests to engage with audiences and to promote our brands. We protect your information in many different ways. These include staff training, investing in technology and following strict handling and storing procedures.
BBC Studios will process your personal data to administer the prize draw and to send you marketing emails (if you choose to subscribe). BBC Studios may contact you to fulfil the prizes. The winning entrant will be the first entry drawn at random after the closing date.
We will share the contact details of the winner with Bicester Motion, who are the organisers of the Bicester Scramble April 2026 event. Bicester Motion will also process your personal data to send you marketing emails (if you choose to subscribe). Once we pass your personal information to Bicester Motion, Bicester Motion will become the data controller of this information and be responsible for processing and storing it in accordance with data protection law and Bicester Motion’s own privacy policy. If you have not opted in to marketing, we will retain your data for compliance purposes for 6 (six) months after the prize draw closes and will then destroy it in line with the BBC Studios retention policy.
