Back to work everyone, Roadcraft’s ‘Reclaim Expansion’ DLC has just landed

Those roads aren’t going to fix themselves

Published: 26 Mar 2026

Job simulators are particularly in vogue at the moment in gaming, and they don’t get more satisfying than Roadcraft, the driving game that has you repairing bridges instead of overtaking racers. And if you thought you’d punched out, we’ve got news for you: the ‘Reclaim Expansion’ has arrived, and it’s added tonnes more honest work.

Two new world maps, seven new vehicles, and new demolition and salvage gameplay scenarios are on offer in this latest paid expansion, the second major one since launch.

Now, hands up who wants to own property in the tantalising new regions of Autumn Collapse and Summer Drought. Anyone? Going, going…

No, probably wise. Autumn Collapse is a forest region that’s been ravaged by storms, and needs a good driver to go and demolish the unsafe structures left in their wake. The denizens of Summer Drought haven’t had it much better – the changing climate has left the existing infrastructure redundant, and in need of a good clearing out and rebuilding by some chancer in a lorry. AKA: you.

The trailer shows it best. More rugged terrain to inch along, more mega-gratifying paths to clear, and plenty of new hardware and scenarios to experiment with. It’s out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, priced at £12.99. A small price to pay for bringing some peace back to the beleaguered people of Autumn Collapse and Summer Drought.
