Ford Fiesta news - Big Chinese Cars I: Ford Fiesta saloon - 2008
China likes big cars. Or rather, bigger versions of normal sized cars, if that makes sense.
At the Guangzhou Auto Show in China this week, Ford has shown off the four-door saloon version of its new Fiesta, set to be launched into Asian markets early next year.
It'll eventually go on sale in North America, too – Yanks like a trunk, it seems – with a similar engine line-up as we get over here in Europe. The underlying mechanicals are believed to have been mildly revised to cope with the bigger arse.
Very nice, guys, but we'll hang on for the Fiesta ST, ta. Guys? Guys?
