Tuned Focus RS tops 400bhp

BBR unveils performance package for Ford Focus RS. Now exiting stage left. Sideways…

  • There are various shades of power. This modified Focus RS falls into the ‘Biblical’ category.

Brit tuner BBR has unveiled its range of performance upgrades for the Ford Focus RS, because hey, if ever a car needed more power, it was this one, right?

  • The top spec ‘Phase 4’ pack costs £3,895 (plus £595 for fitting) and will power your RS right up to 400 horses.

  • For your hard-earned, you get a reprogrammed ECU, a BBR hybrid turbo, a high-flow fuel pump, fuel injectors, intercooler, filter and hose set.

Presumably, some medication may be required. This is not provided.

  • Don’t forget, Ford released its own high-performance RS – the RS500 – packing 345bhp. We liked this a lot when we hacked it up some mountains, but 400bhp?

  • That’s M3-rivalling power. BBR also offers lower powered upgrades ranging from 340-380bhp, for those who have total mastery of their neck muscles and aren’t partial to a spot of intense swearing.
