The BMW i8 meets some of the best-looking BMWs

The BMW i8 will soon cease to be A Thing. This much you know. Production of the gorgeous two-door hybrid sports car will end in April, and if you need any more, BMW has some solace. 

Because BMW has released a new image gallery showing off its really lovely i8 against a load of other really lovely BMWs. Like this shot here, where you will spot some racing E30s, a Batmobile and a brace of cute Isettas. Not a bad garage, that.

This, friends, is when BMW gets design very, extremely correct. From left to right: the immeasurably cool Z8, the M1, the i8, and the impossibly gorgeous 507.

i8, meet M1. Worlds apart in age, but both very much of the same ethos.

Butterfly doors are just better than regular doors because LOOK AT THEM.

Still looks like a concept car after all these years, doesn't it?
