The Czinger Hyper GT is a four-seat… hyper GT concept
LA-based hypercar maker wants to branch out into the world of four-seaters
The super slippery 21C V Max was not the only thing LA-based hypercar printers Czinger unveiled at The Quail last week. Get a look at those renders above – that’s a brand-new concept called the Hyper GT, although it does sound suspiciously like it’ll make production.
This is good news. Czinger has said that “further information on the Hyper GT is to come as the design is finalised”, and it’s true that we really don’t have much info as yet. We do know that it has four seats though, and that it’d use “an in-house designed, strong hybrid drivetrain”.
Worth remembering that the 21C’s hybrid powertrain is a 2.9-litre V8 that drives the rear wheels and two electric motors on the front wheels for a total of 1,233bhp. That’d probably work for a so-called Hyper GT.
Oh, and there are Gullwing doors and styling that represents “the future design language of the Czinger brand”, with cues taken from the low drag 21C V Max and more of Czinger’s fancy 3D printing deployed in production.
What do we think then folks? Would you be interested in a 1,000bhp+ hybrid four-seat hypercar?
