Audi RS6 news - RS6: too slow - 2008
But if only German tuners MTM followed our philosophical mantra. Seems they took one look at the Audi RS6 and said, "Hmm, bit weedy, that. Let's fiddle with it."
And fiddle they did, to produce this monster: the RS6 C6. And - wait for it - power is up to a whopping 702bhp. And they've achieved it with pretty minor tweakery, really. The ECU mods alone took power to 656bhp, which was boosted to the full-fat 702bhp with a new exhaust and air filter.
So, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, in a TWO TONNE car, anyone?

Quite why they bothered is beyond us. In its 'normal' guise, the car produces 560bhp from its 5-litre, twin-turbo V10. Enough to whisk you and four others (plus dog, kitchen sink etc) to 60mph in 4.9 seconds.
The price for this extravagance is 8,210 Euros, plus the price of your base RS6. Almost as much as an afternoon in a Chelsea basement with a few call girls, then...
Sorry, we just couldn't leave it alone.
