Ford is bringing this mega F-450 Super Duty pickup to SEMA

For those who thought the standard truck was just a little bit tame

Published: 25 Oct 2019

Earlier this week we brought you news of eight customised SUVs that Ford is set to bring to the SEMA show in Las Vegas. All of them were pretty big.

As it turns out, though, all of those aforementioned SUVs live in the shadow of this monster F-450 Super Duty Platinum Crew Cab.

Look at the size of the thing. And look how angry it is. It’s been modified by an American company known as DeBerti Design and will also grace the Ford stand at SEMA, where it’ll sit with its shoulders out like a steroidal body builder. Have you ever seen a front bumper with that much going on?

Apparently, DeBerti Design has also fitted Kelderman air suspension to lift the F-450 and allow room for those mega 22-inch American Force wheels in 37-inch Toyo tyres. Plus, there’s the perennial TG favourite – a massive load of spotlights.

We don’t know too much else about the internals as of yet, but Ford only offers the F-450 Super Duty Platinum with a 6.2-litre V8 petrol engine or a 6.7-litre V8 turbo-diesel. Either of those would do us, thanks.

Elsewhere there’s even some added practicality thanks to DeBerti’s pull-out bumper draw and something called a pull-out fender cabinet. Mmmmm, storage.
