Overfinch has attacked the Range Rover Velar
For those who thought the Velar needed carbon fibre
You’ll no doubt be well aware of British tuners Overfinch. The company makes its living adding big body kits and wheels, as well as occasionally big power, to Range Rovers and the Land Rover Defender. So, here is its almost inevitable crack at the middle-child of the Range Rover line-up (at least in size) – the Velar.
If you’d consider yourself a shrinking violet, we’d wager that this isn’t the car for you. Overfinch are clearly targeting a particular clientele.
There’s no word on any upgrades under the skin, so for now what you see above is what you get. That includes a carbon fibre grille, front splitter, spoiler and diffuser – presumably not in the pursuit of performance.
Is it just us or is there something about the front splitter and vent surrounds that give it more than just a little similarity to the Lamborghini Urus?
To complete the look, Overfinch will also fit some monster 22-inch alloys and ‘branded tailpipes’ – although these are faker than the Corinthian columns outside the owners’ mansion. Can’t we all just agree to leave mock exhausts in the past?
The full package is officially named the Range Rover Velar redefined by Overfinch. Catchy. For the first time ever though, each upgrade will be available individually.
Want those 22inch Estrella wheels? That’ll be £4,905 please. Prefer the front grille over JLR’s attempt? That’s £3,300.
Money might not be able to buy you peace of mind, but it will get you carbon fibre fog light apertures for a Range Rover Velar.
