Vorsteiner’s new five-piece Lamborghini Revuelto aero kit is pure pantomine
Got £49k and a new school raging bull sitting around? Here’s a possible splurge
Someone, somewhere, reckons this new Vorsteiner aero kit for the Lamborghini Revuelto is necessary. We’ll lay out the facts so you can decide.
The package is designed to bolt directly on to the Revuelto's OEM mounting points and includes a more profiled front lip with sharper fins, a more aggressive take on the bonnet, and additional vents on the front wheel arches. There’s more going on with the side skirts, while the rear diffuser has a series of vertical fences integrated.
The five-piece kit is made using autoclave technology, which, in fairness, offers between 20-30 per cent more strength than conventional carbon fibre. And none of it’s just for show either: the new front-end is said to improve downforce, those extra inlets claim reduced lift and that tweaked rear apparently has better high-speed stability over the standard car.
Vorsteiner hasn’t mentioned any powertrain upgrades, so expect your Revuelto’s nat-asp hybrid V12 to still send 1,001bhp to all four wheels.
In terms of pricing, it’s $53k (£40k) for the kit, plus at least another $12k (£9k) if you want a set of aftermarket Vorsteiner alloys. These come in hexagonal and twin-spoke designs, among others, so you’re spoilt for choice.
But before all that, you’ll need to get yourself a Revuelto. The going rate for one of those currently? Around £450k… before options. Reckon it’s necessary?
