RAM TRX SRT review
Buying
What should I be paying?
The TRX SRT will be a daily pleasure to own. The engine has been around for ages and is tried and tested. The chassis team really did a proper job, so that bodes well for a long and fault-free life. And the interior is frankly world class – super tough, comfortable, easy to use and a pleasure to be in on and off road.
If you’re not gunning for the Bloodshot Night edition, configuring the TRX the way you like it is a simple affair as it comes pretty much loaded to bear with features.
It will be horrible to park in low-roofed car parks, simply won't fit through some width restrictions, and will obscure your house when you leave it next to it. It drinks fuel like a whale consumes krill and the load bed is so small when you have the optional wheel carrier in there, it will be a challenge to carry a bicycle. But you won't ever complain – and no one would listen if you did.
The TRX’s base price is $99,995 but a few optional extras like your choice of exterior color and truck bed accessories can push that price up closer to $108,000 or so.
