Just look at those front ends. Thirty-eight years apart, but it’s tech, not time that’s driven change. Increasing cooling requirements, radars, sensors, crash regs and aero demands all conspire to make the RS4’s front busier than a bar of soap at Wormwood Scrubs. I fear we’ll never see truly elegant car design again.
