Going electric? Here’s why the Škoda Enyaq range makes sense for drivers and businesses
Stylish, practical, award-winning… the Škoda Enyaq SUV and Enyaq Coupé have a whole lot going for them. Read on to discover why they’re more popular than ever
Over the years, Škoda has built itself a reputation for clever practicality, impeccable reliability and impressive efficiency. And thanks to the recent arrival of the fully electric Enyaq SUV and Enyaq Coupe, drivers can experience everything they’ve come to expect from Škoda, plus all the benefits of going electric.
These multi award-winning, fully electric cars help you effortlessly balance the demands of work and everyday life. A stand-out company car that delivers on all fronts, these zero emission vehicles are also more affordable than ever when leased via a salary sacrifice scheme.
Offering all the sleek functionality that you’ve come to know and love from Škoda, the Enyaq range has plenty of soul, too. Both the SUV and Coupé models are underpinned by the concept of electric with attitude. Yes, there’s modern styling and a clever tech bundle (more on that later), but what’s the point of progress if you can’t have a little fun with it along the way?
When it comes to ushering in the sustainable future of motoring versus preserving the joy of great performance, Škoda has shown you really can have it both ways. Let’s take a closer look at why the Enyaq 80 ticks every box for company car drivers or employees leasing this vehicle via salary sacrifice.

The Enyaq SUV was Škoda’s first purpose-built fully electric car when it launched in 2020. Introducing a bold new design with a striking hexagonal front grille, LED matrix headlights and a sporty sculpted bonnet.
And because it was designed from the ground-up to be Skoda’s first fully-electric offering, the neatly packaged powertrain and family SUV proportions mean the Enyaq 80 is as stylish as it is practical – its class-leading 585-litre boot space and comfortable seating for five makes it perfect for long-distance work trips or family holidays.
With such a driver-friendly package, it’s no wonder the Enyaq SUV picked up the highly coveted ‘Best Value Electric Car’ award at the 2022 TopGear.com Electric Awards.
All the range
If you opt for the Enyaq 80, you’ll discover its 77-kWh battery can achieve a range of up to 339 miles on a full charge – more than enough for a day on the road, whether you’re commuting to the office, visiting customers or catching up with friends and family.
If you use rapid public charging facilities along your way, it’ll take as little as 29 minutes to charge to 80% (based on 135kW charger) which is still good enough to propel you up to another 271 miles.
Once again, Škoda hasn’t skimped on performance in the name of utility either, with the standard Enyaq 80 accelerating you from 0-62mph in just 8.5 seconds. You’ll be kept suitably comfortable amid all this power too with a plush and spacious, yet also sleek, interior.
Plus with 19” Proteus alloy wheels, chrome roof rails, front and rear parking sensors with a rear-view camera as standard and rapid charging capability the Enyaq 80 is the all-rounder electric SUV you’ve been crying out for.

A large and responsive 13-inch central touchscreen is fitted to every Enyaq and controls navigation, the dual-zone climate control, DAB digital radio and phone connectivity through Wireless Smartlink. There’s a range of additional option packages available too, which provide even more features and functionality to certain models.
But that’s not all, because behind the standard leather multifunction steering wheel is a full-colour Virtual Cockpit, which displays all your driving information and can be toggled via the steering wheel to display navigation instructions, assist systems and much more.
Škoda also prides itself on its driver-focused features, a range of accessories and design features that can help make your everyday life easier, including an ice scraper hidden in the boot door, umbrellas tucked into a storage spot in the front doors, sturdy bag hooks in the luggage compartment and a handy organiser beneath the boot floor.
It means business
The Enyaq 80, along with the rest of the SUV and Coupé range, is available via salary sacrifice.
Schemes like this can offer you a potentially more affordable way into electric car ownership, with a portion of your pre-tax earnings used to fund monthly repayments. As an employee, your responsibility for paying the Benefit in Kind (BiK) tax for EVs has been frozen at just 2% of the car’s P11D value until April 2025. Result!
