These are the best RS Q e-tron pictures from the first week of Dakar 2023
Audi Sport is halfway through this year’s race. Catch up visually with the race so far
This year’s extremely testing Dakar Rally has reached the half-way mark and for one day the pause button is pressed and racing stopped. Officially known as the ‘rest day’, today gives Audi Sport and its drivers a break from the sandy stages to take stock and prepare for seven more days of the off-road racing. But this so-called 'rest day’ isn’t a day to where the team’s feet are put up. In fact, the whole car is stripped down and rebuilt. That includes engine, gearbox, dampers... the works. What you’re left with at the end is, basically, a new car ready for the unique Marathon Stages. But while we wait for the racing to resume, flick through some of the coolest and incredibly dynamic shot of Audi’s electrified RS Q e-tron from the last seven days.
*This vehicle shown here is the Rally Dakar vehicle that is not available as a production model. Closed course, professional driver. Do not attempt. The Audi RS Q e-tron combines an electric drivetrain with an energy converter system comprising a TFSI engine and generator.
