Audi RS4 news - For art's sake - 2007
We know Audi has been matching BMW at every turn over the past few years, but this could be a step too far.
BMW is well known for its Art Cars, but now Audi has muscled in on the art action with a hand-painted RS4.
The car was unveiled at Art Chicago in the US, with Brazilian artist Romero Britto on hand to show off his latest project.
Pop artist Britto has come up with a depiction of a woman on the bonnet.
The RS4 will tour the US during the coming months before being auctioned for charity.
BMW has a tradition of Art Cars going back to 1976 when Alexander Calder first painted a CSL racer. He was followed by the likes of Andy Warhol and David Hockney, among others.
