Drag racer loses steering wheel

Details are sparse, but using our expert powers of deduction, this is a video of a man in a helmet attempting to drive a dragster.

We say attempting, because halfway through this action of ‘driving', the helmeted chap appears to lose control of his dragster. Because the steering wheel pops off.

Obviously a potentially dangerous situation, but he get his braking 'chute off in time, giving the whole thing a definite comic pathos...
