European Car of the Year finalists revealed

While Top Gear mag was drawing up its cars of the year in a glitzy Portakabin on an industrial estate near Guildford, 58 Very Serious Men from 22 countries were compiling their own list for European Car of the Year.

Interestingly, the Very Serious Men have drawn some similar conclusions to our own musings. Just look at the finalists (click on the blue words for our awards):

- Citroen DS5
- Fiat Panda
- VW Up
- Range Rover Evoque
- Ford Focus
- Toyota Yaris
- Vauxhall Ampera

The winner will be revealed on the opening day of the Geneva Motor Show this March.
