Ford S-Max news - Ford sets free the S-Max - 2006

Published: 10 Jan 2006

Ford has christened its new sports activity vehicle (SAV) the S-Max.

The new seven-seat SAV will be built alongside the new Galaxy MPV model and sit below the Galaxy in size and price.

The S-Max uses Ford's Fold Flat System (FFS), which allows all of the rear seats to tumble into the load floor to leave a completely flat cargo bay.

The S-Max will make its official debut at the Geneva motor show in March before going on sale later this year. Prices are expected to start around £17,500.
