The Alpine A424 and COTA are about to land in Le Mans Ultimate
Time to tackle those endless sector 1 left-right-lefts in some new French hardware
Le Mans Ultimate is, appropriately enough, in it for the long haul. A steady stream of updates have evolved the endurance racing sim since it released in February 2024, and this latest content drop is a particularly pleasing one for fans of not-quite-flat-out chicanes and Gallic automotive powerhouses.
There was plenty of speculation about when, rather than if, the Circuit of the Americas would appear in Le Mans Ultimate. This being the official game of the WEC after all, the racing series that recently added the Texan track to its calendar.
Well, now we have an answer: September 24th. Soon you’ll be wrestling with those odd diagonal braking zones and bumps with the best of them.
Also in that DLC pack is the Alpine A424, another highly vocalised community request. Hopefully you'll be able to find more pace from this hypercar than the company’s beleaguered F1 operation.
The car and pack together will set you back £9.99, but there’s also some free content coming on the same day. New liveries will be added to existing vehicles, and an early version of co-op mode’s being dropped. That means it’s probably about time to start putting feelers out for team-mates who want to take on an actual 24-hour race with you. Anyone? We’ve got snacks and everything. No?
