'Weirdly soothing': play 'Car Service Together' if you've got nothing better to do
No, we can’t believe we’re recommending this either
Another addition to the burgeoning video game genre of ‘you do someone’s job, only you don’t get paid’, Car Service Together’s unique selling point is that you can rope up to three friends into the unpaid labour as well.
This is broadly similar to the other car servicing games, only this time you can bicker over who gets the easy job of refilling the coolant and who has to undo every single rusted bolt on the gearbox bell housing.
This is by no means a high quality game, but there’s something weirdly soothing about hanging around with your mates in a virtual workshop methodically repairing cars.
Progress can feel artificially hampered when you require a certain professional reputation to buy a 20 amp fuse, but broadly things bimble along at a pleasingly sedate pace until one of you reaches your boredom tolerance threshold.
No, we can’t believe we’re recommending this either.
