Go on, be brave: go rallying in your V12 Ferrari Purosangue with this off-road kit
Then all you need it a co-driver and a big forest to go play in
TopGear.com has no great desire to understand the frenetic and discombobulating world of pace notes, but Ferrari Purosangue owners might want to. Because a tuner called delta4x4 has revealed a spangly new off-road kit for the V12 SUV, and… yeah.
So much yeah. It’s called the ‘Fuoristrada’ concept, and there’s something wholly excellent about seeing a refined, beautifully styled four-door Ferrari treated to the whole ‘fill it with off-road tyres and lights and roof racks and send it’ philosophy.
It’s just a 3D-rendering right now, but it showcases what the German tuner can do to Ferrari’s 6.5-litre twelve-cylinder thoroughbred. Like giving it a lift kit to help it clatter over more difficult terrain. And throwing on special beadlock wheels and all-terrain tyres for better grip. And affix PIAA lights across the front.
And flare out the arches to better show off “the vehicle’s rugged character while also increasing stability in off-road environments”. Can’t comment on the latter, but we’re certainly on board with the former.
Should you want to just amble through the unknown rather than rip right through it, there’s that massive roof rack offering space for… gas canisters, spare tyres, or even luggage. And if you find a nice bit of unknown you’d like to linger in, there’s the option of a roof tent.
No word on price. Or availability. Or production schedules. But if you’re a brave Ferrari Purosangue owner, you know who to call. Now, ‘right 2 into fast 6 FLAT OUT’, and all that…
