This £46k all-carbon kit for the 992 GT3 RS gives it even more aero… and pantomime

New tips for the rear wing and remodelled, repositioned splitters form part of the aftermarket pack, though no mechanical changes will be made

Published: 29 Jul 2024

The 992-generation GT3 RS is just a wing and a body kit with a bit of 'car' merged into it, right? Well, now you can dramatise the look even further with this package built in collaboration between 1016 Industries and 9|DESIGN. It’s called the ‘3RS Carbon Replacement Program’ and it’s… literally that.

The front end gains a new lip with uprights, splitter inserts and a more chiselled bonnet, while bulkier arches and replacement mirror caps are spotted out wide.

Out back, you get thinner roof rails and improved side intakes, while an even lower-positioned diffuser sits and works alongside the new tips for that rear wing. If you thought physics went out of the window with the original car, can you imagine what it’s like with this kit on?

The components can be attached without the need for any serious modification work either, and essentially replace all the original plastic bits with more carbon fibre. Customers will also have a choice of finishing the kit in either gloss or satin.

No mechanical changes are listed, so the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six is still paired with a seven-speed transmission to send 510bhp and 347lb ft to the rear wheels. Plentiful.

The 3RD Carbon Replacement Program is now available for £46,620, though individual parts can also be purchased if you so wish.
