Uh oh, Mansory has been modifying jet skis again
Even the trailer that carries this waterborne abomination has received the Mansory treatment
It was 2015 when Mansory’s carbon fibre jet skis were first brought to our attention, and eight years later the German tuner is back with another gloriously gauche take on a Sea-Doo.
“On land and water… Mansory speeds you up everywhere,” reads the release for this latest carbon creation – the Marlin Jet 400.
Originally this thing was a Sea-Doo GTX 300, but it’s been completely reskinned in awful carbon fibre and the seat has been retrimmed in seawater-resistant leather.
We’re told the conversion saves 10kg of weight compared to the standard jet ski, although we’d imagine the embarrassment of riding this thing would weigh on you much heavier than that.
There’s no word on any performance enhancements for the 1.6-litre supercharged Rotax engine, but Mansory quotes a terrifying top speed of 82mph and even with its speed limiter removed a GTX 300 can only manage around 72mph. Must be something going on in there then.
We’re told this is a “jet ski for ambitious water sports enthusiasts” and that it’ll be limited to just 25 units. There’s a proper waterproof sound system, new LED lighting up front and the ability to customise the colour scheme to match your Mansory tow car. Oh, and it looks like you can even get a custom trailer with silly matching alloys to drag the jet ski around.
Please don’t do this to yourself.
