Video: how to start a WRC car
We've driven Hyundai's rally i20... but how on earth do you fire it up?
You’ve probably already watched the film we made of the Hyundai WRC car – well here’s another little snippet. While we had the car we brought it to TG HQ and parked it in our underground car park.
This is because our car park is secure and the WRC car isn’t. It has no door locks and you don’t need a key to start it. In fact, as long as the steering wheel is in the car and there’s some charge in the battery, you can just get in and drive it away. Provided, that is, you know exactly which buttons to press and in what sequence.
So here’s a little film that tells you all of that, just so you know for next time, eh?
