The Peugeot 207 is set to be the safe option in the supermini sector.

The French firm's upcoming supermini has been awarded five stars by Euro NCAP for crash protection, four stars for child safety, and three stars for pedestrian safety.

These are the best results ever recorded by a supermini.

The 207 goes on sale in the UK this summer.
