Peugeot 407 news - Souped-up Peugeots due in May - 2006

Peugeot has been busy carrying out some genetic engineering and has squeezed its 2.7-litre V6 turbodiesel under the bonnet of the 407 saloon and SW estate. 

With 205bhp and 330lb ft of torque, the V6 is only available in the top of the range Executive trim and deliveries will begin in May.

There's also a new Sport trim level which sits between SE and Executive. Sport trim includes half-leather upholstery, CD changer, parking sensor and colour multi-function display screen.

Prices will be announced closer to the car's arrival in the UK.
