Aston Martin news - Black beauties - 2009

We'd love to tell you that there's a valid editorial reason why we're showing you these photos of the Aston Martin DBS and V12 Vantage Carbon Black special editions.
 
Like, y'know, they've got Exciting New Engines or feature some Clever And Previously Unseen Technology. But they don't.
 
They are just a DBS and V12 Vantage with a very nice black paintjob, which is, apparently,  'especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina', a bit more carbon fibre and some slightly lighter seats.
 
Which means that the only reason we're showing you these photos of the DBS and V12 Vantage Carbon Black special editions is because they are very very pretty.
 
This makes us entirely shallow. But we hope that you are shallow too, and shall stare long and lustily at these pictures of what are, in essence, a couple of standard Astons with some nice black paint.
