The Revuelto Miura 60 Homage is a new limited-edition Lamborghini

Any guesses which car it celebrates? Anyone?

Deep breath. This is the Lamborghini Revuelto Miura 60 Homage, and as nobody will have guessed – you never saw it coming! – it is a special, limited edition Lamborghini Revuelto that celebrates 60 years of the Miura.

Yep, it’s been sixty years of fawning over the admittedly fawn-worthy Lamborghini Miura – still one of the original ‘super cars’ and unutterably gorgeous today – so Lambo’s doing a run of 99 special Revueltos in its honour.

Chiefly by offering 99 special Revueltos in colours historically associated with the Miura. What else were you expecting, a full rebody a-la Countach?

So, you get the choice of ‘Rosso Arancio’, ‘Arancio’, ‘Giallo’, ‘Verde Scandal’, ‘Verde Metallic’, ‘Blu Tahiti’, ‘Blu Notte’, ‘Nero Noctis’ and ‘Bianco Monocerus’. TopGear.com understands those colours as: reddish-orange, really orange, really yellow, green, quite green, blue, quite blue, black, and white.

You can also get a two-tone exterior colourway, ‘shiny gold’ wheels, some ‘Miura 60’ logos, gloss black calipers, matt black exhaust tips, and – though we’re not shown the interior – a ‘cannelloni’ pattern on the leather seats just like the Miura’s. TopGear.com now believes every car should come with the option of cannelloni interior detailing. TopGear.com is also suddenly a little bit hungry.

Anyway. There’s more ‘Miura’ branding inside in the form of stitching, the option of personalising the thing even more, and a special plaque to tell you which one of the 99 you own.

No changes to the drivetrain, because none are needed: the Revuelto comes with quite a lot of drivetrain already, because it pairs a naturally aspirated V12 with electricity and witchcraft for a total power output somewhere north of a thousand horsies. It’ll do 0-62mph in 2.5s for goodness’ sake.

We do not yet know how much each of these special edition cars will cost, but as everybody will have guessed – you definitely saw it coming! – expect it to be ‘a lot’.
