TG mag's free Retro supplement: the best cars from the 80s
In this month's new Top Gear magazine, we take a step back in time
This month's issue of Top Gear magazine - out now - features a free Retro supplement. And the headline act is a good 'un: we assembled the best cars from the decade of shoulder pads and prawn cocktail to bring you what was acceptable in the Eighties. Count 'em: Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi Quattro, Volkswagen Golf GTI MkII and the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. Some wigs may or may not have been deployed in the making of this feature.
There's more classic excellence elsewhere, too: the sublime Lancia Aurelia Outlaw, a selection of retro drives including the gorgeous (original) Alpine A110, Porsche Carrera RS Touring and BMW 635i Group A Touring car. We drive the Mutt RS-13 bike, rewind back to the days of the BMW M1 Procar, and provide some actual buying advice in the form of Chris Harris' secondhand superheroes.
We've picked out a selection of the best images for your delectation below, so join us as we go back in time...
