TG races in the KTM Battle Championship

In this month's issue of Top Gear magazine, our ambitious staffer Piers Ward was told to report to the Red Bull Ring in Austria for a little race in a KTM X-Bow.

Only Piers had never driven at the Red Bull Ring, it wasn't just a ‘little race', and the first time he tested this KTM X-Bow - the RR version - was to steer onto the grid for qualifying.

We're not ones for handing out excuses, but... conditions could have been better, as Piers himself explains in the issue: "I'm giving off enough nervous energy to power London for a whole year."
