We take our long-term Nomad for its hardest test: a slalom up Mont Ventoux
Driving the Ariel Nomad to the top of a mountain. That was the plan. An adventure not only for the Nomad, but also one that would test the mettle of the Land Rover Discovery, which we’d get to tow it there and act as support car/survival cell. Wherever ‘there’ might be.
So I started putting some feelers out, and soon after got a lot of replies that contained the word ‘non’, ‘no’ or ‘nein’. And then the department of the Vaucluse region in France said ‘yes’ we could have a go at driving up their mountain: Mont Ventoux.
