  1. After last week’s explosive return to your screens, we’ve been busying ourselves preparing the difficult second album: episode two of our nineteenth series.

And we think we might just have nailed it. We managed to coerce rock legend Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac to drive a Kia, cram a Lexus LFA, Dodge Viper and Aston Vanquish into the same room, and return from our US road trip alive enough to show you the film we made when we went there. James even bought a new jumper.

But you’ll have to tune into BBC Two or BBC HD at 8:00pm on Sunday to see the fruits of labour. In the meantime, have a click through these exclusive pics from rehearsals this Wednesday…

  7. “A Dacia Sandero? Don’t mind if I do.”

  8. LFA, Vanquish, Viper. Not the names of athletes from Gladiators, but three rather delicious supercars.

  9. The annual Kia Cee’d in Sort of Maroony Red Club summit was an unmitigated disaster.

  10. It’s Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac again! They wrote the F1 theme. We are not worthy.

  11. Stig’s feeding station.

  12. Aston innards. You definitely would.

  13. James: “I say, Richard. Why can’t you hear a Pterodactyl go to the toilet? Because the “p” is silent!”

    Richard: …

James: “Because the P is silent!”

  15. Richard’s cow-milking technique commands attention.
