Gallery: Top Gear’s BACK on telly

  1. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Top Gear is BACK ON THE TELLY!

And despite the snow, the ice, and the fact James had almost forgotten the way, we all eventually made it unscathed to the Top Gear test track to film this week’s episode (which airs in the UK on Sunday, BBC Two, at 8.00pm). And guess who’s been belting around the track with the Stig? Only Damian Lewis! Yes, the Golden Globe-winning star of Homeland made it through the chaos to helm our Reasonably Priced Car.

We’ll see you then. In the meantime, check back on for more exclusive stuff from behind the scenes. But if you can’t wait, here’s just a few highlights from the snowiest day we’ve ever had at Dunsfold…

  2. Our state-of-the-art Production Office endured Britain’s weather.

  3. Discovered roaming on the track’s periphery, these two have been grazing here since summer.

  5. “In this weather? About this big”

  6. Jeremy’s robot dance is the best in the business.

  7. Bitter experience informs everyone’s decision not to pull Jeremy’s finger.

  8. FACT: Stig makes extra cash farming human hands on his shoulder.

  9. Stig - the only being in the world that knows if Nicholas Brody’s been turned…

  10. Stig makes every celebrity sing Suzi Quatro’s “Savage Silk”. Calms the nerves, apparently.

  12. “Can we review the facelifted Toyota Verso next week?”
