BMW 5 Series

£ 37,375 - £ 64,795
Published: 13 Jan 2015

What is it like on the inside?

As ever in a BMW, it’s hard to find fault with the seating position or ergonomics. Which is just as well when you’ve got the possibility of so many things to control. Remember, driver aids need activation switches and sensitivity adjustments too. A new iDrive has a higher-res screen and better graphics than ever. The overall size hasn’t grown from the previous 5-Series, so sheer space is as before, but seat comfort is superb now. Quietness is mighty impressive too. Ritzy-looking trim options take it far from the austere German tradition.
