Interior
What is it like on the inside?
The first thing you notice about the interior of the Velis Electro is the amount of natural light. The doors are full Perspex items so you get a great view out. Do look down for once.
The dash (is that what it’s called in a plane?) is full of complicated altitude dials and radio switches, but there’s also a familiar 5.7-inch LCD screen to display states of charge and Deepak has an iPad mounted to his left to display our flight path. It’s basically a fancy sat nav.

Luggage space is pretty much non-existent, but despite the Velis’ diminutive size there’s plenty of leg and headroom.
