The MG X-motion Concept is quite smart
Beijing concept is a follow-up to last year's E-motion Coupe
MG’s last concept car, the all-electric E-motion Coupe, was rather good-looking in a “when I grow up, I want to be a Mazda” kind of way. Happily, exactly the same can be said of the new X-motion. Smart…and Mazda-y.
Unveiled at this week’s Beijing Motor Show, it’s destined to become the biggest car in the brand’s line-up, when it goes on sale. UK boss of sales and marketing Daniel Gregorious says the company is “yet to decide whether X-motion will come to the UK”.
Information is scant, but MG does reveal that the X-motion “will include full connectivity” and “feature an electric powertrain, interconnection, intelligence and information sharing”. The ‘X’ in its name is supposed to “represent the endless possibilities of how people can relate to the design”, which MG claims is “bold” and “dominant”. Ok then.
