This conga line of yellow cars will warm your heart
Check out the best cars from the ‘Bright Yellow Car Convoy’. Also, find out what that is
My word, that’s quite a convoy. What’s it all about?
Remember when we told you about the senseless destruction of a harmless Vauxhall Corsa in the otherwise charming Cotswold village of Bibury?
Apparently, the yellow Corsa was ‘an eyesore’ that was ‘photobombing pictures of the historic village’. Of all the gripes to have...
So, some rather unwise and misguided individuals took it upon themselves to carve 'move' into the paintwork and generally rough up the Corsa, which belongs to an 84-year-old widower by the name of Peter Maddox.
Happily, however, our faith in humanity has been at least partially restored by this convoy of cars.

You were just bursting to use that line, weren’t you?
Yes, each of the 100-odd cars were all in various shades of yellow, and all descended on Bibury over the weekend to support Mr Maddox and give a not-so-subtle dig at the vandals who ruined Mr Maddox's Corsa.
Oh, what a thing to do!
All right, knock it off now. No more Coldplay references or we’re going home.

Look, do you want to make song references, or do you want to learn things?
Also, yes – that is a custom-painted Quattroporte. But that’s only a part of the canary-coloured procession...
You have my attention.
Yes, that is a Delta Integrale Giallo Ginestra parked next to a Volvo 850 T5-R. And we’re suitably chuffed.
Other classics that attended (some of which are contained in a handy vid here) include at least one example of the following: Fiat Barchetta, RenaultSport Megane, TVR Tamora, Vauxhall VXR220, V8 Mustang, Lamborghini Gallardo, MG ZS and a Z3M breadvan.
Lovely.
