With the Tokyo Motor Show coming up in October, we suspect that the world’s car manufacturers are about to play their trump cards in future fashions and general weirdness. Japan just brings it out of you.
Honda is already teasing a whole range of electric vehicles for the future of the brand, with a Sports EV concept promised for unveil on October 25.
All we know is that it will have “a striking silhouette, friendly face and supple body surfaces, all designed to ensure the car blends into any lifestyle.” Yep, a friendly face. Aww. It also promises to deliver "a feeling of joy and emotional unity to the drive,” whatever that means.
The teaser concept image doesn’t give much away, either, except for more digital lights at the rear and smooth lines not dissimilar to the latest smartphones.
The Sports EV follows on from the simply adorable Urban EV concept that made an appearance in Frankfurt earlier in September; a retro-smart all-electric hatch with a 'lounge-feeling' interior, giant screens and rear-hinged doors. We can’t wait to see if its sporty sibling will follow in its cheeky little footsteps. Insert emojis here.
