Step inside the upcoming Mercedes EQE SUV
First pics revealed of the five-seat electric SUV’s interior. Predictably, it includes much SCREEN
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the first images of the interior of its upcoming EQE electric SUV, and as you can see, there’s a lot of digital real estate.
The five-seater SUV (sitting on Merc’s ‘large electric platform’, chassis enthusiasts!) will debut in full on 16 October, bearing “spacious” head-, leg- and elbow-room, as well as “key innovations” from the EQS luxury saloon.
This car is obviously the SUV version of the EQE saloon, and like all Big Electric Mercs, will get that giant ‘Hyperscreen’ as an option, which fixes three screens under one giant ‘widescreen’ spanning pillar to pillar.
There are the now familiar Merc turbine vents either side, a centre console said to be ‘free standing in space”, a floating control cluster with an integrated handle and seat controls on the doors, and a mix of olde-worlde and new school materials: glass, leather, wood, and 3D-finishing on the aluminium trim.
