Here’s your first look inside the hot Abarth 600e

Bucket seats, new upholstery and much yellow stitching for the most powerful Abarth ever

Having unveiled the exterior of its forthcoming 600e back in February, Abarth has finally followed it up with a peak at the interior. And we can confirm the cabin looks… like a slightly hot Fiat 600e.

Most of the original switchgear and dials remain, as does the 10.25in infotainment screen and augmented driver’s display. So far, so similar.

You do, however, get fancy new patterned upholstery on your bucket seats, plus a healthy serving of Abarth badges and yellow stitching across the central armrest, seats and steering wheel. Ambient lighting is also thrown in for a little more, er, ambience.

Abarth has also very kindly provided a couple of new exterior images, which reaffirm our original impressions that the 600e does indeed look proper. That’s thanks to the cladding-like body kit, a sharper rear wing and funky new alloys, with the latter adopting a mix of silver and black spokes to create a cool hurricane effect in motion.

Coupling the super aggressive exterior is a new 177kW (237bhp, in old money) electric motor and 54kWh lithium-ion battery: we await the torque and acceleration stats with bated breath. Wonder how close it'll get to the (vastly more powerful) Ioniq 5 N...

Interested? Unfortunately, you’ve still got some time to kill since Abarth is only launching the 600e in 2025. Oh, you’ll also need to find a rumoured £40,000 to fund the purchase, so you’d better start checking between the sofa cushions soon.
