This one-off Lamborghini Revuelto is inspired by one of the brightest stars in the night sky
It took 480 hours to create the 'Opera Unica', which brings together a gorgeous selection of colours
Fans of astronomy: have you ever looked up at the Taurus Constellation and wondered what it would look like as A Car? Specifically, a Lamborghini Car? Wonder no more, because Lamborghini has done just that by creating a new ‘Opera Unica’ that follows its Sardinia-themed Revuelto.
This one-off features a hand-painted livery that’s supposed to look like the brightest star in that specific constellation, and took Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and Ad Personam teams around 480 hours to create.
The result is a stunning exterior with colours like Arancio Apodis (orange) and Rosso Mars (really really orange) which fade and transition as you make your way from front to back. Those streaks running across the body look ace too - an attempt at replicating the sight of objects entering the Earth’s atmosphere.
Inside, bits of the stitching and leather are repainted in 'Rosso Efesto', with the same streaks running across the outside also present on the seats and roof. Otherwise, it’s a mostly familiar cockpit fronted by the jet fighter-inspired centre console and trio of screens.
The powertrain remains unchanged too, with the hybrid V12 sending 1,000bhp through an all-wheel system to get to 62mph in 2.5s before topping out at 217mph. Suitably interstellar performance, that.
What theme should inspire the inevitable next one-off Revuelto?
