Check out the new Porsche spaceship in Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

A surprise launch at The Game Awards 2024 the other day was Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet from the creators of The Last of Us and Uncharted. Perhaps even more surprising though was the presence of a Porsche spaceship in the game’s excellent announcement trailer.

Check it out in the images above. We don’t have too much detail about the collaboration between Porsche and Naughty Dog just yet, but we know from the trailer the ship is called the Porsche 984 Tempest NDX, and that it seemingly belongs to the game’s protagonist - bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun. Oh, and it features a jukebox-style Sony CD changer. Excellent.

The ship is full of excellent updated 80s tech and Naughty Dog Studio boss Neil Druckmann has said that Intergalactic – which is currently in development for PlayStation 5 – will be its “wildest, most creative story yet”.

Of course, this isn’t even the first Porsche spaceship we’ve seen. Back in 2019 Porsche showed off the Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighter for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Best to plan for every eventuality in the future, we guess…
