Gran Turismo 5 news - New GT5 track - 2009
You remember that bloke, Lucas Ordoñez, who last year went from playing Gran Turismo in his bedroom to racing the full European GT4 Cup season in a real car?
Well the competition that got him there – the GT Academy – is back for another run, kicking off proper in February 2010.
But the most immediate piece of good news is that if you head over to the PlayStationNetwork, you can download a new track from next year’s highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 game, on which to record your flying laps.
Then the twenty fastest drivers from each territory get to download another exclusive track on which to try and qualify for the actual GT Academy, a five-day race driver boot camp.
An eventual winner will be found, and he or she then gets to race in the full Euro GT4 Cup, in a Nissan 370Z, next season.
To get you in the mood, watch the latest Gran Turismo 5 trailer... The game’s expected to be released in March.
