Tired of crashing in Assetto Corsa Rally? Meet Super Woden Rally Edge
The retro arcade rally game’s coming to consoles in 2026, and out now on PC
We’re running dangerously low on superlatives to throw at Assetto Corsa Rally since it released, but here’s one word we haven’t used: forgiving. That means there’s still plenty of room out there on the virtual dirt tracks for more compliant arcade experiences, and doesn’t Super Woden Rally Edge just know it.
Made by the same developer who created Super Woden GP 1&2, the rally spin off takes the same recipe of blending Micro Machines and Gran Turismo, and translates it to loose surface racing where adorable cartoon cars in copyright-friendly ‘Martitrini’ liveries tear up the countryside.
The PC version released earlier in 2026, but speaking with Traxxion, developer ViJuDa confirmed that it’ll be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2 later this year: “I’ve reached an agreement with an external company to port and publish the game on consoles, just like I did with the [Super Woden] GP games.
“We hope to be able to launch during this summer. The ports are still in a very early stage to guarantee definitive results, but I’ve made sure the team in charge is made up of top professionals.”
In the meantime, back to those punishing Alsace roads in AC Rally. We’ll master it one day. Probably.
