Can you name all of these Bond cars?

Published: 08 Aug 2012

There is a very simple question in 1995's GoldenEye that perhaps accurately sums up 007's attitude to cars. A hapless MI6 assistant, sent to evaluate Mr Bond, asks while being shown what full throttle feels like in an Aston Martin DB5, "James, is it really necessary to drive quite so fast?"

"More often than you'd think," replies 007. Which ties us very neatly into this lovely little video montage we stumbled across, celebrating Bond's cars and other such assorted machinery. And of course, his Crashes. Lots of crashes.

You're probably aware that this year holds a very special significance in the Bond universe; not only does it celebrate 50 years, but Daniel Craig has suited up once more for Skyfall, which hits UK cinemas on 26 October, 2012.

And thus, prime time to carefully comb over and reminisce over 50 golden years of James Bond Driving Nice Cars And Crashing Into Things, Whilst Largely On Fire. This little clip neatly skims through his most famous scenes - from the Aston Martin DB5 through the underwater Lotus Esprit right up to that infamous, Guinness World Record in the Aston DBS. There's even the Tuk Tuk from Octopussy!

Have a watch below, and see if you can name every single car featured in this clip. Can't wait for Skyfall? Us neither.
